The following short summaries provide an overview: MSBZ-ER - Versatile The classic Multi Spindle Drill Heads. The spindle bearing system with its honed-in needle bearing is characteristic for MSBZ. This creates a precise and extremely rugged bearing system which has proven to produce optimal results in a great variety of applications. A wide range of spindle and housing designs is available to solve your drilling problem. MSBZ-ER - versatile, rugged, exact MSBS - Highest Quality MSBS drill heads are our top quality product. The spindles are held with a set of 3 pre-loaded precision angular contact bearings. This special bearing-system offers a very rigid support and a perfectly round rotation which suits these Multi Spindle Drill Heads to applications involving solid carbide tools. The gears are hardened and ground to reduce vibration to an absolute minimum. MSBS - highest quality without compromise MSBZ-EM - Small-Sized MSBZ-EM Multi Spindle Drill Heads are our solution to applications where there is less than 13 mm center to center distance between holes. Our smallest spindle, the EM5 spindle, can drill holes with a maximal diameter of 2 mm spaced a minimum of 7 mm apart. This spindle is entirely held by roller-bearings as are all of our spindles. MSBZ-EM - the smallest spindle possible! MSBU - The Modular System The idea behind the MSBU Multi Spindle Drill Heads is unique. Assembled with only 5 different reusable components, the MSBU system offers you unsurpassed flexibility. The core of a MSBU Multi Spindle Drill Head is a rigid spindle plate. This jig bored spindle plate determines the drill-pattern. The individual spindle assemblies as well as the different gear assemblies are mounted on the spindle plate. This pre-assembled unit is then inserted and bolted into the housing. Only the spindle plate needs to be changed for a new drill pattern. All other components can be reused. MSBU - modular and reusable MSBV - Adjustable The MSBV line of drill heads is equipped with spindles which are continuously adjustable and can thus be fitted to any required drill pattern. MSBV Multi Spindle Drill Heads are also suitable for the production of small lots since innumerable drill patterns can be obtained with a single drill head. Thanks to the special spindle nose with 2 set screws (to secure the squared end of tap-shafts), BERGER MSBV Multi Spindle Drill Heads are suited to both drilling and thread cutting.
